New Sketch at Get Sketchy

Hi friends! TGIF for some :) It's time for a new sketch challenge at Get Sketchy!
This week's fabulous sponsor is Pink Persimmon Stamps!

We are delighted that Pink Persimmon Stamps is sponsoring this week's sketch winner with a 25.00 gift certificate to their store!

Here's our sketch for you this week

And I dug out some My Mind's Eye from last year to create my happy little winter card.

Here's a close up of a fun technique I did on my baby blue card stock.

I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the plain cardstock and then placed the piece of card stock on my Big n Bossy embossing pad and made sure it was well coated. I then sprinkled hologram embossing powder over the entire piece and then use the heat tool to create the glittered effect.
Super fun!
If you'd like to create a card based on this week's sketch, link it up to Get Sketchy by Thursday
the 26th (yep Thanksgiving) at midnight.
Hope you enjoy your weekend, how many are going to New Moon tonight? Ohh I wish I was going!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Scrappy Sundays...love it!

Ohh this weekend was a full of craftyness and that's just the way I like my weekends. Friday I was able to sneak away for a trip to my Michaels. Thanks to Bree I had been itchen to get over there and check out the MM Vintage Findings

Well I did score some new crafty things and the MM stuff was 99 cents for the small packages WOW. Also the older Martha Stewart punches were 50 percent off and I picked up some fabbie ribbon too!
Saturday I went shopping for Christmas toys with my MIL and we picked up a cute outdoor cottage for Lily. Woot Woot, I know she'll just love it! So will my little daycare boy Cayden.
Finally Sunday I made it on time for the chat at Inspire Me about today's 12 days of Christmas project. After I finished chatting it up I worked on my take on the glass frame project with Webster's paper. Here's the result

A close up of the rose and my stickles

Thanks to everyone for all your sweet comments. I really appreciate all the congrats I got for my happy news about Imaginisce. You're all the tops!
